I concur with the suggestion, even though the purpose of the proposal was not to provide a general update of the document. But it is undeniable that the text you flagged sounds a little dated…
The paper was already submitted to the ADOP VAWG. I will check if my colleague is willing to entertain a change.

Sorry, missed the deadline I just noticed. However, no real comments other than this section could have been revised:

I don’t agree that there are a “number of new ILS’s” (in Western Europe anyway) or any MLS at all that are to be installed. Perhaps the second sentence would have been better as “Nevertheless, new and replacement ILSs, along with GBAS systems are to be installed on existing or new sites for the foreseeable future.”
Regards,
Mike

GWG Members,
Attached is a revision of WP 18 as we agreed to produce at the last meeting. The intent is for this paper to go to the next ADOP meeting which is in early November. So, interested GWG members should review this version and provide any comments by COB 10/26/2017. If we can’t resolve all the issues by email, we’ll have a short teleconference on 10/30 (early morning east coast US time zone).
Thanks

Dear all,
please find attached a revision 1 of WP 18 about proposed change to ICAO DOC 9157 Part 6.
Sorry for not providing it before but the update of the paper took longer than expected. I have tried to catch all the comments formulated during the presentation of WP 18 and also reviewed Doc 9157 Part 6 more deeply.
I'm not sure that this new version can go directly to ADOP without a further review by GWG members.
Thanks for your support.
Best regards,
Pierre

Hi Pierre/Tim
Just to let you know that one of my colleagues (ADOP Secretary) will attend the discussion on WP18 (GBAS siting).
So I need to know when the paper will be discussed.
Thanks
Alessandro
