Matt has *not* yet reviewed it, so there may be issues that Rick and I haven't seen and addressed in the paper. That is where you all can help. Please review and comment any time up to and including at the RTCA SC-159 WG-4 meeting scheduled for 18-20 October. We'd prefer you reply via email to all three of us at a minimum (Rick, Barbara, Matt) - but feel free to respond to all or wait for the RTCA meeting. At or after the RTCA meeting, a decision will be made with regard to what to do with the paper for NSP/3 in December. Feel free to forward to folks who have supported this effort in the past. As a matter of fact, we would appreciate your scan of the distribution for accidental omissions. - Barbara -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Had a quick look through the proposal this morning an in general seems OK to me. The only query I would have raised is how this limits the use of GBAS for lateral guidance only outside of the approach service volume? It would seem to me that once inside Dmax, both Lateral and Vertical guidance would be available. These changes came from discussion at the RTCA SC-159 WG4 meeting held last week. These changes are editorial as they: 1. Simplify the language for improved clarity, and 2. Add a reference to the MOPS to avoid any ambiguity in the reason for the requirement Please review and provide any comments you have on this change to Joel Wichgers, Barb Clark, Rick Cassell and myself.
