Dear Tim,
I don't see any section reporting Flimsy 13 presentation and discussion. Indeed, it provides justification of open issues with regard to VDB link budget over runway surface and intended work plan.
In the guided take-off report (WP21), could you fix my name "azoulai" instead of "azouli"
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Laurent Azoulai

Objet : Re: [Nspcsg] Meeting Report
Tim -
Some additional thoughts:
(1) Editorial: To avoid duplicating the information under WP-17, I suggest replacing the second sentence under WP-18 with "Tim Murphy, as CSG rapporteur, briefly introduced the paper."
(2) I didn't see any mention of the extended service volume discussion we had in the report. If the discussion in the working group meeting touched on this topic, it might be good to include that in the future work section. If not, we might want to add a sentence or two, perhaps something like: "During the CSG discussions, it was clear that the group should standardize an extended service volume for GBAS precision approach services (GAST C and D). How and when this could be accomplished is expected to be addressed by the CSG in the near term."
(3) I think we should pick up on Pierre's thread below on the IGM requirements and validation during today's telecon. We need to have a common understanding of what we expect the group is working on for February, even if we anticipate different levels of progress.

Subject: Re: [Nspcsg] Meeting Report
Dear Tim,
thanks for the report. I would have the following inputs/comments:
-Inputs on EUROCAE WG-28 status: new ToR under endorsement. It is planned that the main activity will be driven by the development of a ground subsystem MOPS that will be in-line with ICAO GAST-D SARPs (target date is Q2 2017).
- AI#177: SARPS proposal for separation criteria for GBAS VDB versus VHF COM as well as GBAS VDB versus ILS => due date is Feb 2015 and not Feb 2014
- AI#181: VDB link budget issues => I think I made the suggestion that any proposed changes are discussed also at CNTSG. That was at least welcomed by Laurent but this is not reflected in the report.
- Work plan in relation with AI#183 (Proposed Modification for GAST D Anomalous Ionosphere Gradient Requirements): this was not really discussed but my interpretation is that validating the new requirements will take time. Even if we assume a stable definition of the IGM requirements within a relative short-time frame, we need (at least on SESAR side) to consider the necessary time for ground manufacturers to implement the changes on the GAST-D ground prototypes and then the time to validate them on site. I'm afraid that the validation of the IGM requirements by February 2015 is not achievable.
Best regards,
Pierre LADOUX
