It is planned that the main activity will be driven by the development of a ground subsystem MOPS that will be in-line with ICAO GAST-D SARPs (target date is Q2 2017). - AI#177: SARPS proposal for separation criteria for GBAS VDB versus VHF COM as well as GBAS VDB versus ILS => due date is Feb 2015 and not Feb 2014 - AI#181: VDB link budget issues => I think I made the suggestion that any proposed changes are discussed also at CNTSG. That was at least welcomed by Laurent but this is not reflected in the report. - Work plan in relation with AI#183 (Proposed Modification for GAST D Anomalous Ionosphere Gradient Requirements): this was not really discussed but my interpretation is that validating the new requirements will take time. Even if we assume a stable definition of the IGM requirements within a relative short-time frame, we need (at least on SESAR side) to consider the necessary time for ground manufacturers to implement the changes on the GAST-D ground prototypes and then the time to validate them on site. At least the two of us would appreciate if we could be spared the travel on Monday. Oktober 2014 20:53 An: 'nspcsg at aeronav.net' Cc: Harris, Matt Betreff: [Nspcsg] April CSG Meeting CSG members, There has been a suggestion to start the April CSG meeting on the 7th, instead of the 8th. I know that the weekend before is Easter. Would starting the meeting on the 7th cause anyone to have to travel on a holiday that they would otherwise have off (i.e. is Monday the 6th a holiday)? There was good discussion that drove several changes to the plan. Attached is an update of the plan based on the changes. The expectation is that the organizations identified for each task will proceed with their activities. Where multiple organizations are listed the first organization listed is asked to lead or coordinate. I anticipate that our next call will be Nov. 21st from 10AM-12AM Eastern US time (same start time as last call). The focus on this call will be a presentation identifying the approach to be used in the HI simulation effort. We can also cover status associated with other activities - the draft ICD/MOPS changes and SC189 call will be prior to our next meeting. Tim or Matt - please set up the next call using your WEB-EX. Thanks. Thank you all for your participation.
